A new utility called ‘OhGodAnETHlargementPill’ significantly increases the hashrate of the GTX-1080 and GTX-1080Ti graphics cards. Both types of video cards have very fast GDDR5X memory. All other Nvidia cards that are usually used for mining – 1050Ti, 1060, 1070, 1070Ti – are based on GDDR5. The developers of the ‘OhGodAnETHlargementPill’ utility were able to use all the features of the GDDR5X memory and increase the mining hash by the Dagger Hashimoto algorithm by about 40 percent. The numbers are relevant for GTX-1080 and GTX-1080Ti cards.
